My husband hates bread.
I love to bake bread.
One day a year ago he came into my kitchen as I was pulling a loaf out of the oven and devoured it.
So now he will ONLY eat bread I make. Well I am a busy mom and a sole income earner, plus bred making is hard work. I got tired of hearing him beg for bread so I did a bunch of research on machines and I was a bit nervous about buying a bread man due to many negative reviews on other models and such, but the convince of the auto mix in chamber lured me in. boy am I glad it did! Got the darn thing a week ago and I have put it though its paces! My friends who came over for dinner were out of their mind due to the fact I had made my famed home made pizza AND my garlic rolls, something I have never made at the same time for them even thought they are the two faves. I do not balk at baking the bread for my husband anymore, growing weary at the though of the work.

The machine it so SIMPLE to use. Dump and go. I have tried nearly all of the recipes in the book, I have found that nearly all of them are a little sweet for my tastes, but I hate sweet bread. With host of online resources it has not been a problem.

if you have a problem, unplug the machine and sit down and READ the manual. Heck I have read the thing a dozen times and I still keep it out to refer to.

This is my favorite breadmaker so far out of 5!!! I don’t understand the problems other people have had, they must be mechanical malfunction that could be resolved by returning it and getting another one.
Anyway, every loaf I have made in this breadmaker comes out perfect and I make bread every other day.
My absolute go to recipe for this breadmaker is one that I have tweaked to make a great loaf of bread, here is the recipe if anyone is interested….
1/4 cup buttermilk or milk (I use buttermilk)
7/8 cup warm water
1 1/2 Tbs safflower oil
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
3 Tbs sugar
2 1/2 cups unbleached organic flour
1/2 cup organic wheat flour
2 Tbs ground flax (optional)
1 1/2 tsp yeast
I use the white bread setting/1.5lb loaf/light crust on fast or regular and it comes out good either way (taller if I use the regular setting)
This makes a loaf of organic bread for about {BestCustomerReview}.55 instead of the store bought stuff for .
I have never had this recipe fail me and it stays soft the next day.

I started using bread machines years ago when they first came out. I make one or more loaves of bread a week. To date, I have worn out four machines. This by far is the best of them. After my fourth bread machine burned out, I spent a lot of time reading reviews on line and this machine had the best reviews of all of them.

I usually use the dough cycle on the machine and do the last knead myself and bake it in the oven, but I have (when I feel lazy) have let the machine do the entire job. The bread turned out great. The dual blades work to make a uniform dough. I would highly recommend this bread machine.
